Refund Policy

This policy outlines the terms under which refunds, cancellations, and rescheduling requests are handled for Ligamentflushing workshops and educational programs.

Summary: We offer a full refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before your scheduled session. Cancellations made within 7 days may be eligible for a credit note or rescheduled session. If we cancel a session, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

1. Scope of This Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all paid workshops, programs, sessions, and educational products purchased from Ligamentflushing, whether delivered in person at our Oslo location or remotely via online formats.

This policy forms part of the overall agreement between Ligamentflushing and the participant. In the event of a conflict between this policy and the general Terms of Use, this Refund Policy shall govern in relation to payments, cancellations, and refunds.

For the purposes of this policy:

  • “Session” refers to any individual in-person or online workshop, consultation, or facilitated meeting.
  • “Program” refers to a multi-session package, challenge, or course purchased as a bundle.
  • “Digital product” refers to any self-paced online module, downloadable material, or asynchronous educational content.

2. Cancellation by Participant

We understand that circumstances change. Our cancellation terms are structured to be fair to both participants and to the facilitators and staff who prepare for each session.

2.1 Individual Sessions

  • Cancellation 7 or more days before the session: Full refund of the session fee, processed within 10 business days.
  • Cancellation 3–6 days before the session: Credit note for the full amount, valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Alternatively, a one-time rescheduling to a new date within 60 days may be offered.
  • Cancellation 1–2 days before the session: No refund. A credit note for 50% of the session fee may be issued at our discretion, and rescheduling is subject to availability.
  • Cancellation on the day of the session: No refund or credit note.

2.2 Multi-Session Programs

  • Cancellation before the program begins (7 or more days prior to the first session): Full refund of the program fee.
  • Cancellation before the program begins (within 7 days of the first session): Refund of 75% of the program fee, or a credit note for the full amount.
  • Cancellation after the first session has taken place: Refund for the unused portion of the program (proportional to the number of remaining sessions), less an administrative fee of NOK 200.
  • Cancellation after 50% or more of the program has been completed: No refund. A credit note for future sessions may be offered at our discretion.

2.3 Team and Workplace Bookings

Cancellation terms for team bookings may differ from the standard individual terms and will be specified in the written agreement for each team engagement. Where no specific terms are agreed, the standard program cancellation terms apply.

3. Cancellation by Ligamentflushing

We make every effort to deliver sessions and programs as scheduled. In rare circumstances, we may need to cancel a session due to facilitator illness, unforeseen circumstances, or a minimum attendance threshold not being met.

If Ligamentflushing cancels a session:

  • You will be notified as soon as possible, and no later than 24 hours before the scheduled session time (or immediately in the case of emergency cancellations).
  • You will be offered the choice of a full refund or the option to reschedule to an alternative session at no additional cost.
  • Where a program is cancelled mid-way by Ligamentflushing for reasons other than participant conduct, a proportional refund for uncompleted sessions will be issued.

Ligamentflushing accepts no liability for costs you may have incurred as a result of a cancellation, including travel expenses, accommodation, or loss of earnings.

4. Rescheduling

Participants may request to reschedule a booked session subject to the following conditions:

  • Rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours before the original session time.
  • Each participant or booking is entitled to one free rescheduling per session or program.
  • Subsequent rescheduling requests for the same session may incur an administrative fee of NOK 150.
  • Rescheduling is subject to the availability of alternative session dates.
  • Sessions must be rescheduled within 60 calendar days of the original booking date.

5. No-Show Policy

If you do not attend a booked session without prior notice, this is considered a no-show. In no-show cases:

  • No refund will be issued.
  • No credit note will be provided.
  • For programs, a no-show for one session does not affect the schedule or pricing of remaining sessions in the program.

If you are unable to attend due to an emergency, please contact us as soon as possible. We will consider emergency circumstances on a case-by-case basis and may offer a credit or rescheduling option at our discretion.

6. Digital and Online Products

Due to the nature of digital products and self-paced online modules, the following specific terms apply:

  • Before access is granted: If you cancel your purchase of a digital or self-paced product before accessing the content, a full refund will be issued.
  • After access is granted: Once access to a digital product or online module has been provided, no refund will be issued unless the content is found to be materially defective or significantly different from its description. In such cases, please contact us within 14 days of access.

By purchasing a digital product and confirming access, you acknowledge that your right of withdrawal under Norwegian consumer law does not apply to digital products where delivery has begun with your consent.

7. How to Request a Refund

When submitting a refund or cancellation request, please include:

  • Your full name
  • The name and date of the session or program
  • Your booking reference number (if provided)
  • The reason for your cancellation or refund request
  • Your preferred resolution (refund, credit note, or rescheduling)

8. Refund Processing Times

Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days of the approval decision. Refunds are returned to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.

Processing times for refunds to appear in your account will depend on your bank or payment provider and are typically between 3 and 10 business days after the refund is processed on our end. We are not responsible for delays caused by your bank or payment provider.

Credit notes will be issued by email within 5 business days of the approved request and are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

9. Exceptions

We may consider exceptions to this policy in the following circumstances:

  • Serious illness or hospitalisation of the participant or an immediate family member (documentation may be requested)
  • Bereavement
  • Other significant personal emergencies at our discretion

Exceptions are considered on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed. To request an exception, please contact us as soon as possible and provide as much context as you are comfortable sharing.

10. Consumer Rights

This policy does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under Norwegian law, including rights under the Norwegian Consumer Purchases Act (Forbrukerkjøpsloven) and the Right of Withdrawal Act (Angrerettloven).

Under the Right of Withdrawal Act, consumers in Norway have the right to withdraw from certain contracts within 14 days without providing a reason. Where you have booked a session more than 14 days in advance and have not yet received the service, you may have the right to withdraw within 14 days of booking.

If you believe that a refund has been incorrectly refused, you have the right to contact the Norwegian Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet) or the Consumer Disputes Committee (Forbrukerklageutvalget) for assistance.

11. Changes to This Policy

Ligamentflushing reserves the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Changes to this policy will not affect bookings made prior to the update date unless required by law.
